NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) would like to officially announce the list of domestic players that have been signed for the 2018-19 season of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) so far.
Kivi Zhimomi, 22:
The young and versatile forward has joined our ranks and is the first player from Nagaland to sign for a club in the Hero ISL. After a good season with Gokulam FC in the I-League, with 11 appearances and 2 goals, Kivi has shown tremendous talent and potential that resulted in him earning his first call-up to the National Team Camp for the 2018 SAFF Cup.
Nikhil Kadam, 24:
Hailing from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, Nikhil has played an instrumental role in his previous club's (Mohun Bagan) challenge for the title last season. A live-wire on the wing who can also be deployed as an attacking midfielder, Nikhil's addition to our squad has undoubtedly bolstered our attack. He has also earned a call-up to the National Team Camp for the 2018 SAFF Cup
Redeem Tlang, 23:
After a strong spell at Shillong Lajong, Redeem returns to NEUFC this season hoping to make his mark using his experience with the I-League side. The 23-year-old right winger, who rose up the ranks with Shillong Lajong, will be looking to seal his position in the Manager’s starting XI as we venture into the 5th season.
Pawan Kumar, 23:
The versatile defender from FC Pune City, who was a member of the AIFF's Elite Academy and represented India in the U-19 team, joins the Highlanders for the upcoming season. Starting his career with Salgaocar FC in 2014, Pawan is an emerging talent who is waiting to be tested at the highest level in India.
Gurwinder Singh, 32:
The Kerela Blasters FC defender and a veteran for East Bengal FC, where he spent 8 years winning the Calcutta League 8 times consecutively, joins the Highlanders and brings his winning mentality and experience to the table.
Simranjit Singh, 26:

Seityasen Singh, 26:
The versatile winger from Manipur returns to NEUFC after spells at DSK Shivajians FC (loan) and Delhi Dynamos FC. Seityasen was a part of the infamous Royal Wahingdoh side from 2011-2015 where he captained and aided the side to qualify for the I-League. Despite having only 11 appearances for Delhi last season, he was able to bag one goal and three assists for the Lions. His pinpoint vision and pace down the flanks will be an integral part of our attack in the upcoming season.
Provat Lakra, 20:
After an impressive spell with Gokulam FC last season, the young left-back will make his ISL debut with NEUFC this season. Despite his young age, Provat's ability to read the game and provide support to a team's attack, make him an ideal fit for the Highlanders.
Pawan Kumar, 28:
The shot-stopper from Gurdaspur, Punjab, was a part of JCT's youth set-up and had also led the team to the Durand Cup Final. He was also one of five players who was selected to attend a training camp at Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy as a part of the partnership between Wolves and JCT. He's also played with Bengaluru FC in the I-League and was a part of the Chennaiyin FC Team that lifted the Trophy last season.

The Mumbai born midfielder played an integral part in Minerva FC's title winning campaign in just their second season in the I-League. Before joining Minerva, he led Chandigarh to the final phase of the Santosh Trophy with four goals in three games to his name.
