Hero ISL Season 5 fixtures announced

As the Highlanders begin their training during the preseason under the watchful supervision of Head Coach Eelco Schattorie, the Gaffer is determined not to give up any ground early on in the campaign as the battle drums for the Indian Super League 2018/19 Season have been triggered.

 

 

The Indian Super League fixtures for the 2018/19 campaign were released on Saturday (25 August, 2018) and the Highlanders will set the ball rolling by hosting FC Goa on the 1st of October, hoping to mount a genuine challenge to the visitors.

 

 

Followed by the match against the Gaurs, the Team will take the short trip to Kolkata, within a span of three days, where an enticing encounter with ATK awaits them at the iconic Salt Lake Stadium. 

 

 

The Highlanders have an eventful October lined up as they take the trip down under to face the defending champions, the Marina Machans, on 18th October before facing Jamshedpur FC at home on the 25th and get back on the road to face Delhi Dynamos away on 30th October.

 

 

Between November and December, the Highlanders will host Mumbai City FC (9 November, 2018), Kerala Blasters (23 November, 2018), Bengaluru FC (5 December, 2018), and ATK (8 December, 2018). While three away games against FC Pune City (27 November, 2018), Jamshedpur FC (1 December, 2018), and FC Goa (14 December, 2018) will round off the preliminary fixtures released by the Indian Super League.

 

 

The Season kicks off on 29th September with ATK facing Kerala Blasters at Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium while Bengaluru FC host the defending champions, Chennaiyin FC, at the Sree Kanterava Stadium in the opening day fixture.
